This week I had the chance to attend a maternal mortality roundtable with Rep. Lauren Underwood and mother of Amber Thurman, Shanette Williams. Our maternal mortality crisis can be traced to policy choices. I look forward to joining the Maternal Health Caucus when I join Congress.
